Je crois qu'il est évident que quelque chose se passe ici, ou plutôt plus grand' chose. Voilà donc qu'est venu le temps du "hiatus" comme on dit. Douze Lunes sera donc en sommeil pour une période indéterminée. Avant retour ou... déménagement. Vous pourrez trouver des choses différentes dans mes blogs sous Typepad d'ici peu. Rendez-vous là bas. Douze Lunes a presque trois ans, un peu de repos fera du bien, et à moi aussi, j'en ai un peu marre et j'ai besoin de changer d'air et de sujets... Hasta la vista! UPDATE: Très touché par les quelques messages reçus. Merci. Douze Lunes fait juste une pause, le temps pour moi de me changer un peu les idées. Une certitude: il y aura un déménagement du blog. Le site officiel de Neal Stephenson est pas extraordinaire (en Flash), mais il y a un bon nombre d'informations sur l'auteur, par l'auteur lui-même. C'est à peu près tout ce qu'il y a, mais ça vaut quand même le détour (pour les fans).

Amazon Glitch Unmasks War of Reviewers (NYT) - Sur le site du libraire en ligne vous pouvez laisser vos commentaires, anonymement si vous le désirez. Un problème informatique sur le site canadien d'Amazon a révélé que les auteurs eux-mêmes louaient parfois anonymement leurs oeuvres ou celles de leurs amis et couvraient de critiques acerbes celles de leurs collègues et ennemis! Il semble qu'il se monte de petites cabales, ainsi, de la part d'écrivains mécontents. Même Eggers, auteur de deux best-sellers, reconnait s'étre livré à ce genre de manoeuvre anonyme, à l'occasion, mais pour défendre les livres de ses amis injustement, selon-lui, critiqués: "The suspicion that the same group of writers, known as the Underground Literary Alliance, had anonymously attacked his friend Heidi Julavits prompted the novelist Dave Eggers to write a review last August calling Ms. Julavits's first novel "one of the best books of the year."
